1. Having a snuggle buddy at night.
2. Having a built in companion for vacationing, eating out, watching a movie, going for a run, going to a wedding, DOING LIFE. Period.
3. Knowing that someone is always in my corner being my biggest cheerleader.
4. Being able to parent as a TEAM!
Yes, marriage is hard work. You are going to get on each other's nerves. He's going to forget to do something. You're going to forget how much physical attention he craves. The new will wear off. But six and a half years in and it's still so worth it. I also have to acknowledge that I received a husband who was already broken in (by his own admission), and that plays a large factor in how well we get along.
Hear me closely here: It's not only good, it's exceedingly, abundantly better than I even imagined in my head as a child/teenager/young adult.
